Guide to Admissions

Admissions Process:

Step One: Initial Inquiries

IMSchools welcomes inquiries throughout the year. Prospective families may obtain information about our school and admissions materials in a variety of ways:

  • In person (walk-in)
  • Through the mail by requesting a packet from the School/Admissions Director
  • On our website at imschools.net
  • At one of our periodic open house

Step Two: School Tours

Tours are conducted during our Open House or by appointment only, children are welcome on the tour and can be scheduled by contacting the Admissions Director.

Step Three: Applications

Prospective parents are required to complete an application form and send it along with a non-refundable $95.00 application fee (together with any progress reports from previous schools attended, if any) to IMSchools Attn: Admissions Director 1510 Russell Road Paoli PA 19301

IMSchools will acknowledge receipt of these items in writing. Once received, the Admissions Director will send out an Enrollment Packet.

Step Four: Child/Teacher and Parent Consultation

If required, or requested, further school visits are arranged which last approximately ½ hour.  During the visit, our teacher will welcome the child into the classroom and give him/her an opportunity to work with several of the Montessori materials.  If the circumstance allows, while your child is visiting, we will use that time for parents to meet with the School/Admissions Director, giving the school a chance to become more familiar with your family.

Step Five: Notification & Enrollment

Upon receipt of our Enrollment Packet you will have 14 days to submit the necessary deposit and documentation. Once IMSchools receives the completed and signed contract, included in the enrollment packet, a place is guaranteed for your child/ren.

In the event that there are more applicants, than available places, the applicants’ name will be placed on our waiting list. While an effort is made to accept students based on their date of application, exceptions may be made to balance age or gender grouping in classrooms.

IMSchools’ admissions, the provision of services, and referral of clients shall be made without regard to race, color, religious creed, disability, ancestry, national origin (including limited English proficiency), age or sex.
